Pyrographed Sign

I have also been dabbling with pyrography and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I made this sign for my mum 

The timber is pink birch finished with danish oil. The design I drew myself and applied with carbon paper before then being burnt into the wood with a wire nib pyrography tool.

When the burning was done I cleaned up with fine sandpaper (400 grit I think it was) before applying several coats of danish oil. I intended the sign to be put outside but mum has said it is to nice to put outside in the garden and will put it in the porch instead.
